Privacy

Last updated September 1, 2026

This notice covers the public CourseAlive marketing site and demonstration lessons. An institutional deployment will have its own approved privacy, access, retention, and support terms.

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, work email, organization, role, course topic, and message. Please do not send student records, health information, assessment records, or other sensitive personal information through the public inquiry form.

Information created during a visit

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, time, and security events. The site stores a light or dark theme preference in your browser. Demonstration note and annotation tools may also store work locally in that browser.

Live classes and recordings

Current public demonstrations do not host or record live classes. Any future live-class or recording workflow will require clear notice, consent, and a documented policy before use.

How information is used

We use inquiry information to respond, understand a possible pilot, maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve the public experience. We do not sell personal information or use the marketing site for cross-site advertising profiles.

Service providers and retention

CourseAlive currently relies on service providers for domain registration, web hosting, traffic protection, and email delivery. They process information under their own service terms. We retain inquiries and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, security, legal obligations, and routine backups.

Questions and requests

Ask a privacy question or request access or correction by emailing privacy@coursealive.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
